Coopers Hawk – Bleu Cheese & Crispy Onion Burger

I’ll start this review out by stating that this was a last minute decision that I couldn’t have been happier with. Cooper’s hawk is a well-known restaurant and winery with a reputation that draws people from all over. What I’m trying to say is that it is known to get crowded. We decided to visit on a Sunday afternoon and the wait was nonexistent. Which was great news because I was extremely hungry.

After ordering an IPA (yes I do that in nice wineries), I set my sights on the Bleu Cheese & Crispy Onion Burger. As expected, the presentation of the burger and adjoining fries was faultless. The burger itself was juicy, well-trimmed, and full of flavor. The beef was cooked exactly as I ordered it (medium-rare) and the Bleu Cheese really added to the overall taste. The onions kept falling off the burger but definitely added a great crunch. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a spot to take your significant other out for a nice dinner, I would recommend Coopers Hawk and the Bleu Cheese & Crispy Onion Burger.

PS: The wine is pretty good too.
